Spring forward! I started my day with these beauties.
I had my green papaya and I didn’t like it. I usually don’t put my papaya in the refrigerator, I eat them as soon as they ripen. Since I’ve been staying in a hotel for the weekend, I put my papaya in a plastic bag and placed it in the refrigerator. When I took it out of the bag it was wet and it tasted soggy and weird. I tried to eat as much as I could.
“Durian would make me feel better” I thought to myself, then I decided to go to the store to get some watermelon. I ended up buying 3 pre-cut slices of watermelon. I also got strawberries, blackberries and pre-cut pineapple for work tomorrow.
When I got in the car to go to the store, the smell of durian was still lingering and I really wanted some, but I didn’t give in.
Watermelon, lime juice and chilli power with passion fruit was my next meal. Very tasty. This was my first time having passion fruit. The seeds are crunchy and tangy. I ate my other Chinese melon and finished my other two slices of watermelon.
Being without durian wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be, but I did miss it. I also missed my mango coconut water smoothie. The smoothie is dense and it keeps me satisfied for a longer period of time than the dragon fruit did, which wasn’t really an issue today but when I’m at work and can’t eat all day, the smoothie is the best way for me to start the day.
