Fruit feast day 3 #IKHLW

Today I’m on mango island. I bought a case of ripe mangoes that I don’t want to go bad. I was so afraid of running out of fruit I bought everything ripe (and at a discount). Now I’m worried about wasting food. Anyway lesson learned.

Mono meals are good for digestion. Eating one type of fruit at one meal makes it easy for the body to assimilate it and break it down for digestion.

This may be a little TMI but the fruit is just running right through me. I’m really happy about that because I was concerned about my digestion after coming off of a 114 day juice cleanse.

So far the one thing that I’ve let go of is worrying about how much I’m eating. I eat when I’m hungry and I eat until I’m satisfied. I find that fruit is very filling and I feel good after eating it.

So… I got off mango island when a couple of papaya boats pulled up.

I think I have a problem, I love eating papya seeds. They are spicy, crunchy and go well with the sweetness of the fruit. I read that you are not supposed to eat more than a tablespoon per day and work your way up, but the last couple of times I’ve been eating the whole papaya, seeds and all. I feel fine but since I’m new to papaya and fruit feasting, I think I need to consult someone who has been doing this for a while just to make sure.

I think I will end the day with a mango and coconut water smoothie. I really think that would taste good!
