The juice cleanse update. 31 Day fruit feast #IKHLW

Today marks day 114th of my juice cleanse. I am amazed that I have gone this long. I feel great! I have lost 56 lbs, gained focus and mental clarity. 

I have been really nervous about breaking my juice cleanse just because I don’t want to have any digestive issues. So after some research, I’ve decided to go on a 31 day fruit feast starting March 1st, sponsored by fruitarian Orvel Douglas, whom I follow on Facebook.

So for the next 31 days I will be consuming only raw high water content sweet fruits. No botanical fruits such as avocados, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc. I will still have one juice a day, either a citrus juice or a berry juice, and the rest of my meals will be fruit.

I’m actually excited about this new challenge. Fruit is very hydrating, healing and fruit has all the nutrients and macros (carbs, protein, fats) our bodies need. As I’ve said in my last blog I’m transitioning to a more clean raw vegan way of eating. I will be blogging about the next 31 days, sharing what I eat, how I feel and any challenges I may have.
